2015 Bordeaux 收成報告
自 1945 以來 Bordeaux 逢 5 必出好酒(1965 除外),2015 當然也是。
2015 Bordeaux 的日照時間是歷年之最,超越了偉大的 1921 及 1947,3 月至 8 月 的平均降雨量也是 30 來最少的一年
2015 Bordeaux 氣候一月、二月較往常來得冷些,三月的溫和及四月的回暖加速了 葡萄嫩芽的萌發與枝葉的生長;五月底開花如期而至、六月及七、八月異常的乾 燥高溫讓葡萄擁有豐盛的單寧(92 天中有 39 天溫度超過 30 度,單寧含量超過 2009、2010),八月中旬之後幾波降雨緩和了高溫,白葡萄在八月底至九月 10 日 便進行採收,但九月 11 日到九月 17 日受到 Storm Henry 風暴波及影響一些收成, 大部份的酒莊都在九月 18 日到十月 2 日之前完成採收。整體而言 2015 Bordeaux 的葡萄在生長的過程當中氣候是那麼的好,美中不足的是在採收季節遇到了嚴苛 的考驗,也因此篩選葡萄與採收時與天氣的變化競速成為 2015 首要考驗。
就 Bordeaux 左岸而言 Saint Julien 及 Margaux 無疑是佔了地利之便,特別是 Margaux 區-因地勢較高及土壤結構,在八月中旬以至於九月的風暴並無太大影響,甚至 在葡萄上有相當完美的成熟度更勝 2010、2009、2005 尤其是 Chateau Margaux 及 Chateau Palmer;Saint Estephe 及 Haut Medoc 就沒有那麼幸運,Cos Estournel 雇用大
量的人力投入採收趕在 Storm Henry 之前將傷害降至最低,Montrose 葡萄園主管 Patricia Teynac 亦做了嚴格的挑選以維護一貫品質,所幸結果事完美的。
Pauillac 拜初春夠冷盛夏炙熱,所幸 8 月的驟雨略微降溫。Merlot 葡萄相當完美熟 成,Cabernet Sauvignon 因雨而緩和了高單寧,Decanter 的顧問編輯在今年四月桶邊 品飲認為 2015 是 A “modern” vintage full of charm!!一些知名酒莊副牌都有相當高的 水準,Chateau Mouton 釀酒師 Philippe Dhalluin 亦對 2015 的品質驚豔讚不絕口。 進入 Pessac Léognan and Graves 產區:無論是 Haut Brion 或是 La Mission Haut Brion 香 氣誘人 Robert Parker WA 期刊 Bordeaux 主筆 Neal Martin 以名副其實的萬花筒香氣 來形容 a veritable kaleidoscope of aromas........ It is tempting to just nose this all day.
繼 Margaux 區之後,右岸的 Pomerol 及 Saint Emilion 無疑是 2015 的焦點!!
在 Pomerol 產區 Chateau Petrus 莊主 Jean-Pierre Moueix 興奮表示媲美 1961 "I find honestly those wines fantastic, almost extravagant with great concentration that came naturally. It reminds me of the great 1961." 身為 Chateau Petrus 酒窖總管及釀酒師 Olivier Berrouet 認為這是 50 年來最好的一年 To me it is one of the best Petrus' of the last 50 years.另外 Vieux Château Certan 莊主 Alexandre Thienpont 也認為 Vieux Château Certan with great balance and a tannin texture close to cashmere. We are not far from the 1940s wines at Vieux Château Certan with a slight softer touch。
來到 Saint Emilion 產區 Château Valandraud 的總經理 Jean-Luc Thunevin 認為 2015 兼 具 2009 與 2010 的性感與優雅;Château Figeac 的總經理 Frédéric Faye 及 Canon La Gaffelière and La Mondotte 的莊主 Stephan Von Neipperg 也不約而同的指出"It is an accomplished vintage for a winemaker. Freshness and great precision in those powerful wines. Closer to 2009 and 2010 but is, however, more precise."
Jean-Marc Quarin 法國權威品酒家對 2015 Bordeaux 的看法是柔順、香滑、豐滿、典 雅,令人享受難以抗拒。
After several challenging years, Mother Nature gave Bordeaux a beautiful growing season..... Quality looks to be consistently high among reds, dry whites and sweet wines.這是 Wine Spectator 主筆 James Molesworth 的看法並認為是自 2010 年之後最佳的一年。2015 Bordeaux 白酒產量雖然較少但卻維持相當高的品質,Semilon 及 Sauvignon Blanc 葡 萄因為八月中旬的降雨略為影響;甜酒 Chateau d’Yquem 總管 Pierre Lurton 則表示 “The botrytis was fast and pure. It was really a classic vintage and we are very excited.” 一 樣的亮麗精彩,經典、復古令人興奮。
James Suckling 在桶邊試飲之後對 2015 Bordeaux 盛讚力與美的結合,並對右岸 Saint Emilion 及 Pomerol 給予極佳的評價;Merlot 葡萄有豐厚的深度及寬廣的複雜度, 而白酒也是讓人驚豔。
2016 年 3 月 27 日 Chateau Margaux 總經理 Paul Pontallier 與世長辭(1956~2016),在 1983 年加入 Chateau Margaux 團隊對品質的要求一絲不茍力求優雅細膩、精緻雋 永,期間創作出如 1983、1986、1989、1990、1995、1996、1990、2003、2009、 2010 等傳世佳釀,2016 為 Paul Pontallier 所留下最完美的演繹。You will go down in history as the magician of Château Margaux........
